A major overhaul on the new Gen 3 awning range now offers even more strength and quality due to our unique new arm extrusions and custom fabrics. Now comes with poles on all four arms but only needed if fitting wall kits or in winds over 30kph. Opens in 30 seconds and built in touch dimmable amber/white LED lights on 3 arms.
 
New Customised 320G 100% waterproof fabric, many on the market here are simply not waterproof in fact they actually don’t even give a waterproof rating or simply say they are not waterproof in heavy rain which we believe is totally unacceptable in New Zealand due to our very unique weather. Our Gen 3 270 awning has a 3000mm fully waterproof rating & 50+ UPF rating. Now provides a massive 11.5 m2 of shade and shelter from the elements
Heavier grade pvc fabric travel covers at 1000D most are 600D
On two of the arms we have added a small pole to push up the roof fabric to aid water run off.  We have also added tie points between each arm to create a gutter to further aid water run off in heavy rain.
 
Our truss arm design uses our engineered extrusions designed here for the ultimate in arm strength - A truss arm is far stronger than any single pole arm.
 
For our arm extrusion we have added a dimmable light to 3 of the arms, each arm has its own touch dimmable switch so you have full control of how much light and power you want to use. The lights are switchable from amber to reduce bugs etc or to white using our touch dimmable buttons. Simply touch and hold the switch to adjust the brightness.
 
We have included a pouch to sit a power bank in and added a usb and cig plug so you can choose what power supply you want either power bank (not included) or auxiliary batteries or directly to the start battery.
 
We have increased the strength and thickness of the aluminum awning backing board. The  awning arm hinge has also had a major overhaul in design 4mm Stainless steel with backing plates to support this crucial part of the awning.
 
We have added adjustable pole legs on every arm but these are only required for winds over 30kph and we have also increased the strength and quality of the pole legs using a thicker wall tube which allows for a much firmer hold when twist locked in place.
 
We have engineered our own design brackets made from 4mm powder coated stainless steel they are fully adjustable in height which allows for different vehicle suspension heights or increased tyre height.  Two brackets are included with the 270 awnings.
 
The rope ratchet has been redesigned and is now fully aluminum with no plastic parts.
 
NOTE - We have 2 Choices of bracket length most standard racks use the standard length included but we have a longer bracket available that suits platforms etc. Bracket to rack mounting hardware is not included due to the many different requirements. We carry a variety of hardware here so let us know what you need.
